Shown above is the original 3x6 foot India ink drawing, I created for the Starbucks Art Program back in 2014. I work on pieces like this using India ink watered down to different saturations of gray to build depth and richness. Then I color the piece digitally, for flexibility of color editing. It also helps the piece reproduce more successfully.

Prints of this piece exist around the world in select stores, and the original black and white piece hangs in Starbucks HQ in Seattle. After I created this piece, I was commissioned four more like it, featuring the different regions where Starbucks sources their coffee. See the other four drawings here.
